Having battled with skin problems since I was 15, I have tried numerous treatments from Retin-A to Roaccutane, all with no success. I found that these would settle my skin for a short period, but then it would come back more aggressive than before.

When I first visited SKYN Perth I had a lot of scarring, my skin was very congested and I wore layers of makeup to try to cover my skin.

The dermal therapists at SKYN started me on a program that involved a range of in salon treatments combined with high quality home care products. I visited SKYN twice weekly where I had a series of Microdermabrasion, Elos Acne and Skin Rejuvenation treatments. At home I began using the Environ range of products both morning and night, and applied the CosMedix Clarity serum to my skin at night. Within days my skin was noticeably glowing and the visible acne began to reduce. I ended up having a course of approximately 20 treatments and the results truly are amazing.

I have now started on a series of peels to maintain my new skin and to further reduce scarring.

It is now hard to believe that I had severe acne. I no longer suffer from breakouts, the redness from the scarring has dramatically reduced and my skin is now looking and feeling so healthy. After trying every acne product there is on the market, and spending thousands of dollars on treatments that had no effect, I came to accept that I would always have a skin problem. These treatments at SKYN really have turned my life around! I am now confident enough to walk out of the house without any makeup on which is something that I wasn’t able to do for over 5 years!
