Brow Lift Perth
The effect can be so dramatic it can seem to change the bone structure of the face itself. Straight, linear and low creates a heavy, tired, older look. Shaped, arched and higher opens up the entire face for a naturally youthful appearance.
The most universally flattering shape begins full near the nose, then thins, arches and tapers as the brow approaches the side of the face. Eyebrows should peak (arch) at a point marked by an imaginary vertical line drawn through the outer colored portion of the iris (eyeball). A youthful brow should be positioned two small finger widths above the eye socket.
The natural shape and placement of the brows is predetermined by genetics, however age plays a large factor since this is one of the first areas to show the effects of gravity. Over time, the eyebrows begin to sag, with the outer portion affected to a greater degree.
What you can do:
What You Can Do?
- Create the illusion of lifted brows by shaping, tweezing and penciling in eyebrows in a higher, well-arched position.
- Go with the natural line of your eyebrow. All bone structure is different, and so are your eyebrows. Not sure where your eyebrows should be? Run your finger along your eyebrow bone. That’s exactly where the line of your eyebrow should be. If you try to arch your eyebrows too high above the bone, it may look unnatural.
What to Avoid
- Thick, linear brows. A brow that doesn’t curve can look heavier, causing you to look tired and older.
- Overplucking. A brow that’s unnaturally thin or overarched creates a cartoony look instead of lift.
SKYN Solution
-
Wrinkle Relaxers: A small injection will relax the muscles that depress (pull down) the brow. This allows the brow to “pull up”, creating a naturally arched, flattering shape and an open look. Results typically last 3 months.
